Integrating easy-to-use technology with challenging movement material, NOCTURN workshops are a unique offering in the dance world.

 

Our workshops place dance in a relevant, topical and contemporary context, enabling participants to interrogate and engage in much more than just their dance technique.

CARINGLY CUSTOM-MADE

NOCTURN’s workshop programme is as flexible as it is inspiring, tailored to an organisation’s needs. Participants are seen as active partners, encouraged to contribute creatively to the content and direction of the work. 

SKILLFULLY INSTRUCTED

We have a been delivering workshops throughout the south of England for 10 years, with a track record of offering significant value to workshop participants and their schools, organisations and community groups. 

We deliver dance participation activities from primary school to professional level, and have worked in a variety of settings.

NOCTURN offers a fresh approach in creative dance in Primary School’s.

We give children a voice to express their creativity through our distinctive form of contemporary dance and use of technology. Focusing on your theme or topic we stimulate imaginative exploration through creative contemporary based movement.

Providing expert and professionally trained dance teacher in and around the Thames Valley area. 

 

Imaginative

Be it a day in a baker’s life during the Great Fire of London to following a quest set by magical dragons that leave clues around the school. It could be the surprise of pupils finding a crack in the school flaw from which a secretive invisible family visits tasked with explaining the meaning of our senses.

Our projects are never ordinary; they spark the imagination.

Not only do your pupils get the right encouragement and feedback to grow from our expert teachers, we also foster positive peer-to-peer working.

Pupils will be challenged but will embrace theses tasks with excitement and pleasure.
